Saunf ka sharbat Recipe

Saunf ka sharbat (fennel seed drink) is a refreshing and cooling beverage that is popular in India. It is made by infusing fennel seeds in water and sweetening the mixture with sugar or honey. Here is a recipe for saunf ka sharbat:


Saunf ka sharbat Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tbsp sugar or honey (optional)
Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the fennel seeds to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the fennel seeds.
  4. Add the sugar or honey (if using) to the pan and stir to dissolve.
  5. Let the sherbat cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a glass.
  6. Serve the sherbat over ice (if desired) and enjoy!

Note: You can adjust the sweetness of the sherbat by using more or less sugar or honey, to taste. You can also add a few slices of lemon or a sprig of mint to the sherbat for added flavor.
