Ingredients:

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon tandoori masala spice blend
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 sandwich buns or rolls
4 lettuce leaves
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup raita or plain yogurt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, tandoori masala spice blend, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them evenly with the yogurt mixture.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and slice it into thin strips.
  6. Assemble the sandwiches by placing a lettuce leaf and tomato slices on the bottom bun. Top with the sliced chicken and a dollop of raita or yogurt (if using). Close the sandwiches with the top buns.
