Ingredients:

1 kg mutton, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons oil
2 onions, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

Start Heating  the oil in a large pot or pressure cooker.
Add the onions, garlic, and ginger and sauté until the onions are translucent.
Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, and salt and stir well.
Add the mutton and stir until it is coated with the spices.
Add the tomatoes and water and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, until the mutton is tender, about 1-1.5 hours. If using a pressure cooker, cook for about 45 minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or bread. Enjoy!
